Question - Has anyone tried a Gen 4 large frame mag release in a G34?

I'm curious about this as well since I also shoot a G34 Gen 4 in Production. Does anyone know the part # of the G20/21 Gen 4 mag release (the part # is molded right into the mag release if you have one)? The standard mag release on the 9/.40/.357 Gen 4s is #7534 and the extended mag release is part # 8794. I wonder if the G20/21 is the exact same part as the extended 9mm one?

The Gen 4 G20/G21 part number is 8795.

good pictures and comparison of part #8794 and #7534 on the thread here:

I would love to see some comparisons to the 8795 part listed above. The description on Midway says it is not extended and standard for 20/21, but it still may be larger than both 7534 and 8794. I believe the Gen 3 extended was just a standard 20/21 mag release.

FWIW, I swapped out the 7534 for the 8794 in my Gen4 34, and I can tell a slight difference.

Oh too bad, thanks. I'm guessing they're not compatible if they're different part #s. Glock loves using the same parts across different models whenever possible.

Does Glock have an Ext mag release for Gen4 from the factory?

Where would you find one? I haven't seen a factory one yet, although i'm sure it's out there.

OOS right now, but they're out there http://www.midwayusa.com/product/946894/glock-extended-magazine-release-glock-17-19-22-23-24-25-26-27-28-31-32-33-34-35-37-38-39-gen-4-reversible-polymer-black. Although not very helpful if it's not Production legal. I'm a lefty and actually find the standard Gen 4 mag release a little harder to use than the Gen 3 so would like to be able to use the extended one. I know I could reverse it, but I've got a bunch of older mags without the ambi cutouts.
