Zoomy
My wife and I will be moving one of our horses down to Alabama from northeast Illinois the end of February and I was hoping to get outdoors again to shoot some USPSA and 3 gun. Its been a tough winter up here and I need to play outside again. Anyone have any recommendations on matches in the Alexander City/ Lake Martin area? DrawandDuck
You are in the middle of 2 great matches, one is 1 hr North the other 1 hr South Steel City on the first Saturdayhttp://www.brocksgap.com/main/directions-to-brock-s-gap/ East Alabama on the 3 Sunday http://www.eastalabamagunclub.com/ Both are great matches, high round count run and gun....I would have to give the nod to Steel City just because of the guy that puts it on. Make that 3 as I forgot to list Central AL Gun club, they shot first Sunday of the month. Also about 1 hr Southwest in Shorter, AL http://centralalabamagunclub.com/main/uspsa/ Edited January 10, 2014 by DrawandDuck

I've shot that match. Nice guy, but he's pretty much a loud mouth hillbilly. If it's you're first time up there make sure you speak slowly so he can understand you.
