Marshal82
Looks like from the new IDPA rules you may run your mag pouches a little further forward. The old rule: "Be worn in a belt location that will position the front edge of the carrier behind the centerline of the body." The new rule: "Magazine carriers must be worn in a belt location where the front edge of the carrier or magazine is behind the shooter’s anterior superior iliac spine (hipbone)." I know my hipbone is farther forward than the centerline of my body. Anyone notice this rule change? Sure makes going to that first mag a little easier. rowdyb
i've moved mine much further forward now. this is one time being skinny helps. sadly not a single belt loop hoster i've tried holds the gun close enough to pass the dowel test. and no way in heck am i using an iwb holster! Marshal82
Rick from the powerfactorshow confirmed what I thought. As long as the dowel touches both the gun and you at the same time it should be fine, however if your skinny enough I guess it may not. I run a Comp-Tac Belt holster with a Glock 17 and it sits just fine.
Steve Koski
Yeah, it's a bit weird to reach that much further forward after all these years.
C-Money
I love the new rules- the more IDPA is like USPSA the better I like it.
Glock3422
You must love arbitration, and numbered paragraphs. You might want to apply for one of the AC jobs that are suddenly vacant.
