rrickysee
I have been running the stock recoil spring in my Gen4 Glock 34 shooting ammo at 138 PF. Have been wanting to run a lighter recoil spring. I bought a Jager recoil rod and a 15lb ISMI spring. Will this work with out beating up the frame? I would appreciate any input you guys have. JBP55
I used 15# ISMI springs in Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glocks using all types of factory ammunition and they ran well. All springs need to be changed occasionally.
spikers220
I run 13# springs in all of my Glock 9's. It works great. I shoot a variety of loads between 130 and 135 PF. Forgot to mention that my gun would cycle these loads with a 15 and 17# spring, I just opted for the 13#. Won't hurt anything. 13 pound springs are pretty typical in a set up Production gun.

Magsz
No problems at all. Ive ran alot of 142k power factor ammo through my G17 and G34 with zero issues. Having said that, i prefer 14lb springs for 128-135k fare.
rrickysee
Ok. Thanks for the replies. I'll have a little bit more peace of mind about making the change.
