The range im a member at calls their own hot/cold ranges. but there is a line that everyone has to be behind unless your going down range. there is not firearm handling when people are down range.

Those guys are actually the standard target stands you just don't know it. When there is a target that literally seems to be dodging you but everyone else just thinks you can't hit anything- It's really the "gremlins" screwing with your head

I used to shoot at the WMA ranges and witnessed the exact same problems. I even witnessed a guy put a round down range after a cold range call and shooters had walked 10 feet in front of the line. He claimed that his hearing aid batteries had gone dead and he had not heard the call. I finally just joined one of the clubs (PCSC) and never looked back.
