DJPoLo
Four runs on the plate rack produced this group at our local steel match this month. -Chet
Pierruiggi
hehe. Did the lower shot made the lateral lines forming the smile or you made those to accentuate the smilie face? I couldn't help to recall that (in)famous scene from Lethal Weapon.
DJPoLo
Did the lower shot made the lateral lines forming the smile or you made those to accentuate the smilie face? The lateral lines were caused by splatter as the bullet edged the front of the plate rack. All natural. No special effects! -Chet

We did make the shooter stop so Chet could photo it.
mcoliver
I can understand the smile. With 4 shots and it's still standing, most likely taunting you to up your load.

DJPoLo
hhmmm, i thought it was the head of the pillsbury doughboy! Actually, I think it is the smiling face of the Virgin Mary. I had auctioned this very plate on eBay and the bids were up to $22,000 before they yanked it down. I hear they may let me put it back up for bidding again. We'll see... -Chet
