diehli
Damn good shots of JJ Racaza on the cover and in the mag. Sharp, good color saturation... the way photography should be. Nice job.
rhino
The Yamminator is definitely a talented photographer! He's a good guy, too! Personally, I think the cover of Front Sight should always feature a Pinoy. Once they get through JJ, KC Eusebio, Jojo Vidanes, and Lee Dimaculangan, they're going to have to feature Remo (BulM540), his brother and all of their shooting buddies ... and eventually ... ME! shred
Wow, a FS cover not by the Sedro team. First one in a long time, I think.

rhino
Yamil is a real pro. I think someday he'll be discussed favorably in the same sentence as Ichiro Nagata, the guy who does all of those awesome photo layouts for Guns and American Handgunner (and really the only good reason to look at either magazine). Duane Thomas
Check out Mustafa Bilal's stuff in the upcoming Primedia Complete Book of the 1911 (with three articles by me, inside!). Ichiro Nagata quality, I kid you not.

rhino
rhino: what about us back here? hahaha!!! Tell Yamil to take his next vacation in the Philippines and get pics of all your cousins! Aw, man! I was hoping you wouldn't notice! If we put all of you guys in the mix, I go to the very end of a much, much longer line!! I'll never make the cover! Heck, the Jet will be back in action before I get my turn!
Nemo
Rhino, Do you really know Yamil? It sounds you're talking about a different Yamil Sued than the one I know... Actually, Yamil is a fellow Puerto Rican and a very close friend. He was the photo editor for the defunct GunGames and I think some more of his work will be coming up in the next Front Sight. For the Nats the lucky dog had the fortune of been squaded with J-GO! Cheers!
rhino
Yeah! I've never met the Yamminator in person, but we've had a lot of communication via e-mail over the years. We "know" each other both through the IPSC e-mail list as well as a GI JOE collectiing usenet group that I used to frequent (he may still!). He developed a very good reputation among the other collectors as being a very reliable (and generous!) trader. Those guys are quick with their praise, but they're even faster with their criticism of bad traders!

rhino
Rhino,Thanks for the vote of confidence, how’s the GI-Joe Collecting?? I’m still doing it, but only Old Vintage Joes!! I haven't bought a single JOE or accessory since I've been back on my feet an mobile! I still love my collection, but it had to take a back seat to shooting and the rest of life, at least for a while. Perhaps I'll go back to it this winter if it gets to bad outside to shoot. Until then, though, if I have to choose between ammo and loose Dragon parts ... I have received a few as gifts, though! Do you have a web site with your own photos of your collection yet? That would be very cool. Do you remember Opie and his IPSC shooter JOE? When are you coming to Indiana to shoot with us? How about Area 5 next year?
