40 rd Pmag + Arredondo magwell

I just got a 40 rd Pmag, figured it'd be good to have in the bag. However, it won't seat with the Arredondo magwell. I'm pretty sure I can cut the magwell to make it fit, but just wondered if anyone else has already come across and solved that problem.

Check the tab on the back if the pmag. I had alot if problems with the mag well as it doesn't work well with many of tr coupled mags the sure fire mag beta mag or the new pmag. I took mine off as I rarely reload

I was wondering about that tab, think it could be filed down a little?

I milled 65 of those Arredondo magwells to work with Gen 3 Pmags for a mil customer a couple months ago. I kept a few for the store, ill post a picture of it tomorrow to see what was removed. Yeah I had to sand mine a little to get the gen 3 mags to work. After thinking about it, I see no real issue with hogging that bad boy out a little more. to make the 40 fit. It's a mag well, it's only real function is to guide the mag, so I don't think removing those raised portions (or at least cutting them down) should have any negative effects. Then again I've been wrong before.
