Ol123
Hi, Got the Tanfoglio Match in .40S&W(barrel has hexagonal riflings), and thinking about shooting the lead bullets. I've heard it's not recommended, because this kind of barrels will catch more lead then traditional barrels. - Does anybody shoot lead through hex barrels? Is there any big problems, any precautions about it? How to take care about the barrel properly(removing the lead)? Thanks. SJ 40
I have shot cast lead bullets out of polygonal Glock barrels for more years than I can remember. SJ
jmbaccolyte
Ol 123- I suggest you try either Bayou Bullets or BBI. They both have a coating of some kind (different coatings) that seems to eliminate leading in my pistol. It has the traditional rifling though.
