XDman
OK, I will admit I screwed up. Here is what happened. Shooting the stage, and bypassed two targets behind a small port. Did not engage at all. So my question is how many total penalty points is this? Two FTE at twice the max points on target, would be 10 each for a total of 20 penalty points. Then is each miss a 10 point penalty as well as each target required two scoring hits? 4 misses total? I ask as I received 60 penalty points on this stage. Thanks. Sarge
FTE will be 30 each. 1 procedural. 10 points 2 mikes. 10 each
sperman
60 penalty points for 2 skipped targets is correct.
bikerburgess
Yep 60 points is correct, just be glad it wasn't best 3 or 4 per target. the penaltie is pretty brutal but it keeps people from trying to game the stage by skiping targets. kevin c
Thanks guys. Wasn't trying to get away with anything, just a mid stage brain fart. I do it all the time. Pity there isn't a Beano for brain farts.
CZinSC
Wow..skipping targets? That's just plain dumb. Who the hell would do something like that....oh wait....I did. At a Sectional Match. But if you're going to do it....do it right. Skip three like I did!!
Hello
Don't forget the 20 points you could have earned with A's... 60 is correct, but in the big picture it set you back 80. Bummer!
Poppa Bear
How about 5 points costing you 50? Missed the activation popper for the Drop Turner. Popper -20 and DT -30 even though the targets were disappearing because I failed to activate it.

whitedog
My understanding of not engaging a target is 1 FTE (procedural) is 10, then 2 mikes is 20( 10 each). That is 30 points per target. Sadly I know this by missing a 4 target array at a monthly once. Completely forgot the COF had a right side. Dumbass.
BEC
I'd like to see the rule on penalties for a non-activated disappearing target? I totally agree with the -20 for the Steel, but not sure on the paper target.

Poppa Bear
'd like to see the rule on penalties for a non-activated disappearing target? I totally agree with the -20 for the Steel, but not sure on the paper target. 9.9.3 Moving scoring targets will always incur failure to shoot at and miss penalties if a competitor fails to activate the mechanism which initiates the target movement. Edited to add the 9. in front of the 9.3 Edited September 6, 2013 by Poppa Bear

GuildSF4
SInce I don't see the rule posted- 10.2.7 A competitor who fails to shoot at any scoring target with at least one round will incur one procedural penalty per target, plus the applicable number of misses, except where the provisions of Rules 9.2.4.4 or 9.9.2 apply. So 2 FTE's and 4 Misses = 60 penalty points.
