Bill Schwab
When shooting rifle & shotgun, do you pull the gun back towards the shoulder via your support hand on the forearm? Or instead do you use the support hand only to drive the gun as you transition to the next target?
DyNo!
I push with my supporting hand and push out of my shoulder - LIKE A BOSS! (Pull-Pull here with my supporting arm pretty much fully extended along the forearm)
Jesse Tischauser
I don't even think about it. I guess I'm driving the gun with my left/support hand as well as with my hips, legs and torso. The strong hand is holding onto the gun tightly. Edited August 4, 2013 by Jesse Tischauser
Bill Schwab
Thanks Jesse, that's kinda how it is for me too. I was watching something by Larry Vickers and he was saying to pull the rifle back, so it got me thinking.
Jesse Tischauser
Mark Hannish, West Chandler, Keith Garcia and Pat Keller shoot shotguns faster than anyone else I've seen. If there is a secret they know it.
