outerlimits
am curious what "Max" dram equivilent is, in comparison to shotshells that are 3 dram. i assume it's more than 3 drams, but is that the case?
tightloop
Hard to get a real definitive answer, but my experience has shown it to be 4 drams is max
benny hill
It means a whole lot of RECOIL.
Dave Marques
most matches a 3-3.25 dram load is enough. Some people start to change loads and pellet size to knock down steel at 25 yds plus, but the right answer is choke choice and using your sights-----remember squeeeeze the trigger! JD45
From what I understand it means that the load is above any blackpowder load ever loaded. Since there is do blackpowder equivilent to compare the payload/velocity to, there can't be a "drams equivilent". Anyway, it really means that the load is considered as full-throttle as you can go with that particular shot charge.
