toddrod
I bought a coating kit from Bayou Bullets and will be casting and coating 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 ACP in the red copper color today. I did a small batch last weekend and it is very easy to apply. The red copper looks pretty too.
Solvability
Would you please post some pictures of the bullets and run through the process - is the coating even - drips or sags? I have wanted to do this.

toddrod
This is basically how I did mine except I used the red copper coating. I sized mine after 2 coatings of HiTek. This is not me but my process is the same I use an Oster table top convection oven for mine

BOOST
The epoxy method is much more forgiving in getting it right. Powder Coating buy gun requires you to make a jig (works best for hollow pointers). Powder Coating wet tumbling ( also called "Piglet method" ) seems to be faster and cheaper. Can be difficult to get it right the first several tries. Aesthetics is still in its stages, but it works well. The coatings over sizes the boolits about .002 ( this is a good thing especially if you use LEE molds)..
