tortuga Posted July 14, 2013 Share Posted July 14, 2013 So I had an opportunity with a few things coming & going to compare sight radius among a few different rigs. I thought it was interesting so I'll share and you decide. I aligned all the slides with the back of the sight dead even, using a straightedge. The perspective of the camera doesn't show this but it is the case - the camera was positioned to show the front sight best. From front to back: CZ 75B stock Glock 22 w/ Meprolight sights CZ Tactical Sport slide with LPA rear / FO front G35 with Heinie Rear / not sure about front G24 with Heinie Front and Rear G35 with Warren / sevigny combo Looks to me like the clear winner would be the 24 with the Sevigny front. The std CZ would gain about 1/2" with a comp sight, but still comes up short. Personally I like the longest possible sight radius, what are your thoughts? cpa5oh Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 I might be in the minority, but I struggle on long shots with my Shadow because the sight radius is about 1" short of the site radius on my G34 and G35.
