Peacemaker78
I use my bluetooth ear piece to listen to musice between stages but I turn it off then i shoot. There are numerous studies that loud music can distract you and your brain, like looking for parking with or without music, so I choose to clear my mind and stop all distractions when i shoot. But some may enjoy a soundtrack while shooting. Get some bluetooth earbuds because those electric muffs may cut out when rounds are shot.
Frankly
Considering this is the Brian Enos forum you should be listening to Brian Eno (Roxy Music, glam rock, weird experimental British rock...). Aren’t they one and same? Google seems to think so. They look similar.
Merldizzle
I used to love listening to music when shooting but then I figured out there are benefits to hearing what I’m actively doing so I can hear if my gun doesn’t fully cycle or I have a squib. Safety dance would be a good ironic song in that case
LaraBully
Backwoods Boy by Josh Turner is a good one. "Pass it on" aka "The Mossy Oak Song" by Tracy Byrd is another. Especially for a father/son type deal.
robbiespratt
I have often thought about rocking out while running the USPSA courses but I worry about missing commands from the RO, or not hearing a squib, or any other myriad of things...... Seery
I enjoy music, but I've never found it to be helpful or distracting.
