Yelrdog
Rance Spurlock, gunsmith, hunter and owner of Spurlock's Gun Shop in Henderson, NV passed away during a hunting trip in Africa last week. Spurlock's is a great store -- one of those places you get a square deal w/o the typical BS from the guys behind the counter. I took a shotgun in one time to have a new recoil pad installed. Rance insisted on doing it for me overnight because he was leaving for a moose hunting trip the next day. He charged me $40. What a class act. Grump
Didn't know him personally but knew the shop in two locations. They knew their stuff. And they had stuff beyond ARs and AR bolt-ons. What a place to go, though! Hope he was happy with nothing bigger than an "aw shucks" before he passed. . . if not passing in his sleep.
