Scramblerx
I recently purchased a Nighthawk .22lr conversion created by Bob Marvel on a single stack STI 1911 frame. I eventually want to shoot the a rimfire event with it and thinking about getting a red dot. What are my options for getting this done with this set-up? Thanks!! Scramblerx
Nothing? I guess I'll go with a frame mount. Was holding for something less obtrusive.
Steve RA
You could do the same for the conversion as done to a whole gun, mill the back of the slide to accept the red dot. It also gets the sight line closer to the open sight sight line which makes it a little easier to get used to it.
Wilson
Would a Marvel Precision shroud fit? You could have irons and a rail for a dot.
