onebadeye
Does anyone make a seating die for this style of bullet . The round nose seater seems to round the corners of th bullet, and the semi w/c seater cuts in to the top. Bullet is a Rogers fp with pal of 1.120. bigdawgbeav
I'm using Roger's 225gr. TCs... I load with Lee dies and have no issues with the seating of the FP. I believe the OAL I'm using is 1.

bigdawgbeav
maybe i never looked at the edges, I'll have to check to see if the FPs are rounded a little from the seating die. I wouldn't think so considering that Roger makes his bullets to 21BNH... that's hard.
onebadeye
I agree, they still shoot well,
anachronism
Fill the recess in your existing seating stem with epoxy and strike it level with a straightedge. That'll make it a flat point seater. If you change your mind later, a day or so in the freezer will likely make the insert pop out. If not, heat certainly will do the trick. Epoxy hates heat. Bob DuBois
I'm a fan of Lee dies also. For a few bucks you can send a bullet to Lee and they will cut an insert for the seating die that matches your bullet. Loading 9mm minor with heavier bullets I had a flat insert made that pushes on the tip of the bullet, worked great.
noylj
You can drill out the center of the seating stem that is contacting the flat nose. You can send a bullet to the manufacturer and have a custom seating stem made. You can ignore it has it has no affect on accuracy out to any range you are likely to be shooting.
