ProGunGuy
i know there are many variables to consider, but if one had to pick one 9mm Montana Gold bullet that would be accurate in all guns, what would it be?? can be any weight.
Yagi
Imho... I do not think you can have any problems with 124 gr cmj or jhp or even 121 gr. Ifp....it's all about the right combination of powder, oal, barrel, twist, etc. You just have to take the time and effort in testing your load to your specific pistol... Justsomeguy
I like the 124 JHP. Accurate, plenty of OAL space, and no speed limitations one way or the other. Seems to like a lot of powders too (though I prefer Silhouette!).
cecil
I second the 124 JHP choice
L3324temp
124 JPH would be my vote as well.
gng4life
The 124 CMJ would have to be the most universal and is very accurate in my pistols. It feeds in all my guns and is a good middle weight bullet. The JHP will not feed in some pistols...
Lebayer
The JHP is more accurate in my Caspian 9 but not 100% reliable. I went to CMJ and was barely satisfied with the accuracy but as the gun is breaking in - new KKM barrel - the accuracy is improving and is now roughly equivalent to the JHP and completely reliable. If it doesn't go BANG when you pull the trigger, doesn't matter how accurate a shot it MIGHT have been!
warpspeed
I have had no issues with the 115 JHP.

robertftw
What is the difference in the cmj and fmj? they look the same to me...
Cowboy1629
CMJ has a complete metal jacket. The bottom of the bullet is covered, no exposed lead. FMJ has exposed lead on the bottom which equals more smoke and lead deposit especially in a compensator.
at_liberty
Keeping it subsonic, accurate, and powerful kind of votes for 124 gr, which is what I am loading.
Dacsoft
I have had the best luck with 124gr CMJ. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
robertftw
Is there a big difference in the performance of a 124 Cmj and a 124 Fmj? Is loading the same, like powder GRNS and oal? Edited May 31, 2013 by robertftw

JimmyZip
121 IFP! Just a really accurate bullet for me out of my HiPower when I first started reloading. Little expensive for me now though.
kar45
has anyone treid the 130gr in 9mm? it works great. .356 seats tightly in the case for less chance of setback. I also like the 'feel' of the130-135 weight bullets. try them with 3.8 Bullseye @1.114.
CocoBolo
As if you could get it when you needed it. But my vote is the 124gr JHP shot the CMJ for 3 years it is a good bullet but I like the JHP more. I switched to MG when Zero's had no reliable source. I'm losing my affection for MG since they have been hiking prices this year. When the pandemic is over about another year or so we shall see what shakes out.
