BillChunn
Ok, I need to add some additional ports to the walls. How do I cut a window? It seems I cannot "cut-n-paste" an existing port. BC
lilbeauxdawg
Try drawing a square on the wall and then adding color to it or taking color away. lilB

splitime
Not sure if this works in sketchup, but can you place an object through the wall (box/cylinder) and 'cut' it out of the wall? It something I've used in a few different 3d programs over the years.
Mark R
Or draw a box or circle and use the push/pull tool to open up. Some walls have two sides so you may need to erase some entities when done pushing/pulling.
