ffgats
Good Day , I bought a 11.5 bbl from a friend of mine, He claims its a BCM BHF and thats according to the dealer where he got the bbl. its has stamp HF HP MP 1/7 556 NATO.. I've checked the Bcm site ,the pics is not really that clear for 11.5, However the BCM BHF 14.5 or 16" bbl is marked this way. Contacted BCM about it, and according to them their bbls doesnt have a standard markings,it can change from time to time. Can you Gentlemen share your opinions and knowhow on this issue. I am hoping I got the bbl specs Im looking for (cold hammer forge, chrome line, etc. Thanks
MstngLX50
I have that barrel, assuming your mean BFH, and that's exactly what mine says on it. I've been extremely pleased with it.
kurtm
Does BFH mean " big f#king hole"? I think it is WAY more important as to how it shoots than what all the acronyms mean, but I may be wrong!
MstngLX50
I think the H is for hammer... Silly name but it shoots great. Consistently a minute with good ammo. I didn't really go looking for a hammer forged barrel, it was all I could find when I needed an 11" barrel.
