furyalecto Posted May 5, 2013 Share Posted May 5, 2013 The old, non signature SV mags generally fit into STI frames without any fuss. They don't make them anymore. I would search, but IIRC, the new signature SV mags usually take some fitting to work in STI frames. I thought that removal of a bit of metal off of the STI frame allowed the use of the new mags without adjusting the mags but I could be wrong. The mag catch is bit different as well. wes777 Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 new SV mags in STI frames require the frame to be cut and the mag cut for STI mag release. STI mags can get 29 + 1 with some work, grams 9mm 13 coil spring and Dawson +1 pad. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
