cuzinvinny
Does anyone know an exact weight for 38 special brass? I bought some and was shorted. I counted the brass by putting it into loading trays, but want to substantiate my claim by noting the weight of the package.

Youngeyes
umprimed: Magtech 67.20GR Remington 65.60GR 7000Gr= 1 pound ie. 7000/67.2= 104.167 cases to the pound All brass is different. YMMV Edited April 10, 2013 by Youngeyes
gng4life
The chart I use shows 102.8 cases per pound so between the above and this, that gives you a very good estimation. Remember fired cases, even from the same manufacturer, will vary slightly.
mlmiller1
38spl brass can vary in weight a whole lot. Would be hard to count it by weight.
