caz83 Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Hi guys, Have a noob question that i was hoping to get some help on. I have a new 2011 RIA hi cap in 9mm that has a magwell from the factory. I bought 2 mecgar p18 mags and arredondo extended base pads for it but the magwell will not accomadate the outer lip of the base pads. I was thinking either modify existing magwell or adding a dawson ice. Problem is, I'm not sure how to remove it. It has a hex screw on the bottom which i removed as well as a pin. I'm assuming i knock the pin out correct? Not sure which side though. One side shown has the pin recessed in. Other side is sticking out a bit, is rounded and blued. Thanks for the help. Pat Miles Posted April 8, 2013 Share Posted April 8, 2013 Knock the pin out and the magwell should drop down at the back and then a slight forward push and it should come completely off.
