Hand Reinstallation

OK Enoseverse, help me out here. I'm trying to remount the hand to the trigger but I have no idea how I can get the hand torsion spring to stay in a position so that it will rest properly on the little bar on the hand. I'm trying to swap out one K Frame hand for a spare factory K Frame hand I have because one charge hole on a used gun does not carry up. If the gun feels like it's "binding" during firing but the firing sequence and the cylinder's carryup is improved, at that point can I start stoning the WIDTH of the hand? I am not a gunsmith, I don't want to open up the hand window, and I'm not sending the gun back to Smith and waiting a trillion years. Dremels and internet connections can accomplish wonderful things.

Those are pictures from a MIM trigger.

You have a tension spring with two side, the shortest one insert in the hole of the trigger.

After this, compress with a little screwdriver or other small punch the longest side.

At this point insert the hand in trigger thru the holes..

Have a nic job and patience.
