Publicola
From what I've seen Henning doesn't offer a ConeFit guiderod for the compact. I can't tell exactly from the pics, but does anyone know if there's enough material to be able to shorten a standard length ConeFit guiderod for use in a compact? Or is there another solution for running hot 10mm loads in a compact?
CHA-LEE
You can't shorten the standard length Cone Fit guide rod because the middle is skinnier than the end. If you cut it down to Compact length it will be in the "Skinny" part of the guide rod and will not work properly.
Publicola
I was afraid of that. I was thinking there might be enough of the beefier end of the guide rod to cut down for a compact. Then again I also thought the Braves were sure to win the series in '84 So I take it it's down to either convincing Henning to offer a compact ConeFit or trying to make one myself? lol
