Reshoot
Anyone here used the Otis carbon remover, on their comp? Powder Finger
never used for comps. not sure about this product but if it cost's a lot I would pass on it in favor of Sea Foam or GM top engine cleaner etc....... local auto parts stores. These remove carbon from rifle chambers well, cost little, and easy to find. These products are prtty nasty so don't leave set long and use gloves. MangledMoose
I used it to clean my comp.. let it soak for 24hrs and still ended up scraping out most of the crap. Keep in mind my comp had not been cleaned in 10000 to 15000 rounds though and it did dissolve a lot of the carbon build up just not the leading. RiggerJJ
Ultrasonic cleaner with 50/50 solution of water/concentrated simple green. Run for 2-3 hours, let sit overnite. Turns the carbon into mud and scoops right out. jj

I've tried both in my comps, letting them soak at least overnight, and as far as I could tell, they did nothing to cut the carbon buildup. Maybe they would work on just light carbon, but, I don't clean every 100 rounds.

Glk21C
spray some case lube in the comp, go shoot, spray in comp between refilling magazines, then before you pack it up, spray in comp again. You'll be surprised on how much cleaner it gets
