Mikethor
Has anybody fitted an EGW Extended E trigger to a mkiv colt gold cup National Match series 80 ? I understand they require some fitting just wondering how much or whether I'm better putting a Wilson ultra light or similar in. Have just had a EGW Long disconnector, EGW hard sear and Koenig low mass hammer fitted but it still has the original steel trigger and I have long fingers. rishii
Goldcup trigger shoes are wider than standard I've never tried one, but if you do, you'll end up with a huge gap on both sides on the trigger where it rides in the frame This one is made for goldcups http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/trigger-group-parts/triggers/gold-cup-solid-blank-trigger-prod20528.aspx?avs|Make_3=1911
Mikethor
Thanks for that, I had a look at the shoe and it is like the damned titanic, after I put the EGW trigger in it slopped all over the place. I have the EGW in my sig and it is much longer than most out there.
