cybrosh
Hi everyone, Does anyone fabricate an oversized Magazine Catch for 2011's? Cheers Edited March 15, 2013 by cybrosh

cybrosh
Hi Guild, Thanks for replying - meant the catch/release, not the button itself. CHeers
GunCat
Oversize in which dimension(s)? If the mag release is loose inside the grip then I’d say it’s time to replace the synthetic grip. I had to do that just this week for one of the local guys.
GuildSF4
Did you mean extended? If so Dawson makes one and I am sure others. If larger diameter then check Guncat's post. If you mean where the catch captures the magazine and the catch is tight on the grip then Dawson or Brazo's might work. Also talk to Saul at Double Alpha he may be able to help. cybrosh
Hey guys, The grip is fine, a new STI m.catch is actually tighter in the dimensions on the right side, where the spring lock is. I did mean on the inside - in order for the magazine to sit higher, and to be able to remove some material. Nope, the standard length is perfect, otherwise, I'll drop mags all over the place. Brazos? I didn't know they have a magazine catch? just the cyclone button(Which I have on all of my guns) Regarding Dawson - would the posi-lock work in terms of plenty of material? GuildSF4
The posi-lock might work, I don't know the dimensions of it I do know it has some extra material on it. Although the design is to prevent over-insertion of the magazine.
cybrosh
I'm hoping the extra material on the posi-lock, although its purpose to prevent over-insertion, and damaging the ejector would be enough to place the magazine higher.
GuildSF4
I'd give it a try.
