Roscoe09292010
From NC. Been shooting IDPA for just about 2 months and am fully hooked. Shoot a STI Eagle 5.0 in 9; love it. I’m kind of a clean freak when it comes to guns.

Speedemon45
Hey man. Where are you in NC. Lot's of matches around here might be able to turn you on to some good places to shoot.
Roscoe09292010
RTP area. I shoot mostly at Caswell Ranch or The Range
Speedemon45
Try some USPSA. You have Sir Walter Raleigh and PHA within easy driving distance. Check out ncsection.org
WrxGuy90
Welcome. I've heard nothing but great things about the sir Walter. I've even considered shooting a few matches there myself and it's a three hour drive for me. Blackwater practical shooters holds a nice event down in moyock also. Good luck shooting and great choice in gun.
daves_not_here
Welcome. The Range or Ranch are great places to shoot. I've also gone to monthly IDPA style matches at H20 Fowl Farms and PDHSC. Their matches tend not to conflict with Range or Ranch so you can shoot both Saturday AND Sunday. Sir Walter USPSA is on my list but I really haven't had the need...yet. Are you going to The Carolina Cup? It's a good major match. DNH
Roscoe09292010
If I could shoot both days without being served divorce papers I would. Yep; I am doing the Cup; very excited; need to shoot the Classifier in April at Frank's.
BBBB
Sometimes after the match at Caswell Ranch one of the SO's will run a classifier for a couple of shooters, especially if they are new like you. If you're interested ask around and you may be able to get your classifier done that way.
