cecil
just wondering what oil/grease brand is best for lubing a bushing/barrel on your guns ?
DrawandDuck
Do not have a bushing barrel but I use M-Pro7 for all my guns/rifles.....GREAT STUFF!!
Albertl35
I use FP-10 for a lubricant and will mix it with Mobil 1 if I want it a little thicker.
Reshoot
Nothing but Slide Glide, on my competition guns
Chris Keen
Frog Lube!! Grease is too thick for competition guns. Edited March 5, 2013 by Chris Keen
Bob DuBois
Mobil 1 5W30, don't care for grease on a tight pistol in the 1911/2011 platform. Mobil 1 stays till the next cleaning which is easier than removing grease. Quart is a little over six bucks. Give it a try hard to beat. Noximus03
Wilson's Combat Lube......on all my guns. Comp or carry. Good stuff and deals well with the constant Florida temperature changes.
RangeJunkie
My old 2011 I used 0W-20 and it worked well. On my new Open Glock break free CLP, so far it's functioned perfect even at around 0 degrees after wind chill.
MoNsTeR
SG Lite when it's warm, FP-10 when it's cold
Retread1911
I use corrosion X in addition to some slide glide. I love the corps soon prevention of this product and it is very thin and slick to boot.
gmg
Mobil 1, Frog Lube, and Lucas gun oil. Militec if I have it.

BostonBullit
Mobile 1 most of the time. Tried frog lube and it worked great for a hundred rounds or so then i start having problems. Trying slide glide now, we'll see how that goes.
Steve RA
Try any major brand synthetic wheel bearing grease, just use a little around the barrel where if fits the bushing.
9X23Guy
Militec-1, doesn't matter the temperature. I used it extensively on my work carbine. Seems to have far less carbon build up. Has held up great on my Open gun as well.

-Ace-
I ran FP10 for a few years but recently switched to frog lube, it seems to stay cleaner and lasts longer.
orangeman711
I've used nothing but Tetra Gun Lubricant for the last 5yrs. It stays in place from 35 to 110 degrees without a problem.
SLM
I've really been digging Frog Lube. I like the paste on the rails, lugs, etc and the liquid on the sear, disco and hammer hooks. It stays put, wipes off when you're cleaning and no chemical smell to irritate your pets, kids, or semi significant other.
