RobE1010
I would say either a Para 18-9 LDA Limited or a Beretta 92 Elite II. Look for a ParaOrdnance Top 200 dealer in your area or through their website to shoot one or at least handle one. It's a great option for Production/USPSA and SSP/IDPA...it feels like a sewing machine in your hand to shoot As for the Beretta, it is very comfortable and quite nice for a semi-factory, traditional DA/SA. Besides, Ernie Langdon does miracles with them!

BillH
Para P18 LDA. SSP/IDPA ?? Legal? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is legal until 25Jan2006 when the weight limit for SSP comes into effect. There has been a hint from Para that we might see an announcement late this year regarding Para and IDPA-legal pistols for SSP. Tacblack
I have the Beretta E2 now and it works fine. The Tanfoglio Stock-Custom looks like the gun to have thou, but will it be uspsa legal after they vote? The Tanfoglio Stock is a sweet gun and I know it will be uspsa legal and probably a good bit cheaper. I like the Tanfoglio Stock-Custom is an awsome looking pistol but it looks A LOT like my limited race gun. It might get kicked off the US list. Jake Di Vita
Seems like the name itself is a description of whether or not it will be ok in Production. "Stock-Custom" Wtf is that?
