amish_rabbi
so my open gun is finally done, and I need some good drills to get me to stop staring at the dot like I do my front sight any tips/drills?
Supermoto
put a piece of tape over the front of the lens. If you are focused on the target you can see the dot on the target, if you are focused on the dot, you will not be able to see the target

yiorgara
One drill that is great for focusing on target and triger pull is as follows: get a box and mix live rounds with dummy loads and either close your eyes and load your magazine or have a friend load your magazine randomly. Now when you shoot your brain will expect a boom, when it gets a click, or vice a versa. Eventually with prectice you will learn to keep a steady hand and focus on target without flinching. When that happens , you will be a much better shooter. Good luck and have fun.
