Zukeep
Has anyone tried the VZ 320 carbon fiber grips on their 1911? Feedback?
Mikethor
I have not but have previously looked at vz grips and then saw Larry davidsons, I would check to see if he does the carbon fiber grip. And if so buy from him.I know the grips you are referring to and they look great.
Shokr21
I like VCD grips, very tacky and the guy is a shooter to boot.
amish_rabbi
I have VZ and VCD grips, both are very grippy with you get the right pattern in the VZ ones. never used the carbon fibre ones though
-Ace-
I've got a set of 320 CF VZ's on a commander size rail gun, its a nicely finished grip, but its definitely not as an aggressive of a grip compared to an operator, gunner etc.
Chef J
I have VZ's carbon fiber slants on my Valor. Great feel and grip, plus they look really nice. Well worth the expense in my opinion Edited March 2, 2013 by Chef J
mumzer
Another vote for Larry and his monkey grips. I really prefer the way he bevels the trailing edges. I replaced my vs carbons with his frag pattern and never looked back.
cuzinvinny
Does anyone know if VZ supplies their grips to Techwear/Techwell. The grips that came with my Techwell look just like Chef J's. I always thought Vz could really open up to a whole new market if they did offer their grips with the slots cut in, for use with a Techwell mag well. I have seen some people do the slots on their own, but I'm afraid of screwing up a set of grips.

Zukeep
Thanks got the feedback. Not sure they are aggressive enough for me. Look for a brand new pair in Classifieds. :-)
Jammer1911
Thank You Chef J for the pic. This thread is completely useless without Pics. JMHO
Chef J
No problem, and they a far more aggressive than they look in the pic. For me, the angle cuts are such that it really aids in achieving a higher grip as well.
CCC1911
I have the 320s in G10, they offer more grip then I thought they would with their minimal texture. I like them a lot. I haven't tried the carbon fiber ones.
