gng4life
They are pretty hard so if you light springs, you may get some FTF. I know this is especially true in my Glock with a light striker sping and lightened striker. Edited February 27, 2013 by gng4life
mlmiller1
They are good but much harder to seat completely.
MoNsTeR
They are difficult to seat unless you have a 1050. I experienced a 1% failure rate in my Glocks (w/ Vanek striker), 0% in my STIs.
Bear23
I run them thru my 650. i do go back and check them. occasionally i will have a high primer.
mont1120
I used 1000 of the small rifle primers and had no issues. Perhaps one did not fire, but that could be a host of problems. Buy em they are out there, certainly the market is empty right now.
Hi-Power Jack
I've used them in my BHP and STI TruBor - loaded with a Square Deal, for both 9mm minor and major. They work great in my TruBor - not so well in my BHP - and they are more difficult to seat properly.
MstngLX50
If your other option is hope then I'd buy as many as they'll let you... Wolf has been pretty good for me, as others mentioned harder to seat depending on press used. I haven't found them any harder, when properly seated, than winchester. 11lb mainspring in my CZ was setting them off. More relevant to you my Glocks with reduced striker springs were fine as well. Bottom line, seat them properly and you'll be golden. Also, it appears they're available to you. Other brands, who knows when you'll be able to get them. nathandewalt
I bought 30k of the TULA SPP which from what i understand is the same as the Wolf. Thats all I run now. I am into my third case (10-15k) and would not hesitate to shoot them at a local or major match. I am shooting them out of my factory striker spring m&p. Having recently bought from PV; but, not yet tried, a bunch of Tula small pistol primers, my M&P and me are glad to know they're working well for you. Tigereye
Not sure about the Glock or STI, but I've been using Wolf/Tula for a couple of years with no issues in a M&P 9 and a couple of 1911's.
Matt P.
I have run at least 30,000 wolf primers I had no problems with them......
EEH
I use the LPP in my 1911's with lighter hammer springs, with zero problems.they load easy for me on my 650..if you can find them buy them !!
Ace38super
I have used more than 30,000 Wolf/Tula Small Rifle Primers. All in three open guns .38 super. I have had 3 fails, one of which went bang the second time, the other two would not fire and looked OK when I took the rounds apart. One of the guns is a Brazos STI with a 15# hammer spring and extended firing pin. Only one of the 3 failed Wolf primers was with that gun so I would say they are not too hard. I use a Dillon 550B and notice a slightly higher effort than with Winchester SR primers, but nothing major. Since I have never had a single failure with Winchester I use those for Nationals and major matches, Wolf for everything else.
craigsteffek
I run wold srp in my ss and M&p with out issue. Great primer for the cost
glockdude1
I bought 1,000 Wolf Primers and I would ONLY use them in my practice shoots.. For matches, I did not trust them, since I had 4% non-shoots with the Wolf Primers.. As the other guys mentioned, they are very hard and my Glock striker was too light for 100% to fire..depends on your gun I would go with Winchester or CCI primers

Foxbat
I would never buy any Russian military products, I would rather be without the primers.
Steve RA
Use Tula and have never had any problems with them.
ben b.
I have used IDK how many umpity-thousand Wolf or Tula, probably 50K or more. I find the SP & SR are MUCH EASIER to seat than CCI in my LNL AP press. Failure rate appears no different in my guns than Win, Fed and much better than CCI since CCI tends to seat high for me. Jaxshooter
It is funny I feel the same way when somebody asks about Wolf primers. Wolf purchased Tula or vise versa. Alot of the bench rest rifle shooters swear by Wolf and Tula primers.
Ofishl1
I ran my first 1000 Wolf SRP thru my STI .38 Super Open gun, all fired just fine,..., I did notice the feel of them seating is a little different than Wins on my 650,...but no issues
