paul788 Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 From someone who owned a P22: the gun will not stand up to a lot of use. Typical Steel Challenge round counts will wear the zinc castings rapidly. My daughter started Steel Challenge at 8 yrs. old with P22 and switched to a Ruger 22/45 with a TacSol upper at 10(thanks to Kacie Cochrane and Pat for letting her try it out).
