Alaskapopo
Found out today that I need to replace my furnace asap. Going to cost 6k and I had to get a loan out against my retirement account. Mostly my own fault for not having enough in the bank to cover this type of thing. Pat

Alaskapopo
I have actually been lucky in a weird way of late. The department is paying me back pay for doing Sgt. work the last 2 years and I am a Corporal that is going to be 2k after taxes. A guy hit my truck the other day and the insurance payout is going to be just over 2k. I will just leave the dent in the bed for now and I get 3 pay checks in march so it may just all work out without having to do use the loan. Crossing my fingers. HRider
Come on down to south texas and live, it's about 75 here now. Yeah, but like South Alabama, sooner or later, you will have to buy air conditioning in August, which would put you over the same barrel. Flatland Shooter
Come on down to south texas and live, it's about 75 here now. And spend that 6 grand for a new air conditioner in August. I have my thermostat set at 62 degrees and the furnace kicked on possibly a dozen times since Christmas.
