700X powder

So what everyone think about useing 700x for 9mm i used it a few years ago and it was prity good plus is $ 60 for a 4lbs cn a good deal

A neighbor gave me an old 12 pound keg a few years ago. I've been using it for everything from 30 Mauser to 45 Colt. It's great for 9mm too, and at 3-4 grains a round my keg is going to last forever.

I'm currently using it in my 40 major loads under 180g JHP (5.0gr) and 200g LFP (3.9gr). It is dirtier than some other powders, but for me, it seems to shoot soft and I, too, have one of those 12lb kegs of 700X.......so....... I'd like to use the N320 or N330 that I have, but ALL of this seemingly FREE powder is too tempting....

I use it for shotgun mainly, but I've used it in .45, .38 special, .38 super steel loads, 9mm and think it works great for pistol target loads...soft shooting and accurate. My only complaint is that I find it to be a bit finicky with the Dillon powder measure.

I'm also using 3.4gr of 700X under a 124gr LRN for a VERY soft shooting subsonic load. Might not cycle all handguns, but works in quite a few.

I'm using it in 9mm and 45 ACP. Good shotgun powder too.
