56hawk Posted February 25, 2013 Share Posted February 25, 2013 A neighbor gave me an old 12 pound keg a few years ago. I've been using it for everything from 30 Mauser to 45 Colt. prebancolt Posted February 25, 2013 Share Posted February 25, 2013 I'm currently using it in my 40 major loads under 180g JHP (5.0gr) and 200g LFP (3.9gr). It is dirtier than some other powders, but for me, it seems to shoot soft and I, too, have one of those 12lb kegs of 700X.......so....... Guest Posted February 25, 2013 Share Posted February 25, 2013 I use it for shotgun mainly, but I've used it in .45, .38 special, .38 super steel loads, 9mm and think it works great for pistol target loads...soft shooting and accurate.
