175gr HPBT Match Black Hills Gold is a great 175gr projectile. Jeff and Kristi Hoffman are also great people to deal with and make (IMHO) the best factory ammo $ can buy.

Good point made previously was multiple wind flags at every hundred yards or so. Realize that wind can do funny stuff. At certain ranges the left side of the line might have zero-2mph wind to about position 5-10 and then after that those following shooters might have 10mph or greater wind.

Also wind is rarely constant . It gusts and swirls around like theres no tomorrow.

Usually the early relays get the best wind conditions and those later in the day get hammered.

Shooting at Camp LeJeune many years ago I've seen the hundred yard flag going straight out left to right at the same time the three hundred yard flag is going right to left also straight out....and the 600 yard flag? Was going straight downrange. Talk about needing your coach at that moment.....

Forget Spin Drift for now. Make sure you are plumb and install a level. You need to switch to a 175 hand load that you can push to around 2,600 fps. The 168 sucks past 900 as mentioned earlier. Then if you want to shoot past 600 regularly, drop the 308 and get a 6mm or 6.5mm.
