Bensonr
I brought together a bunch of scrap pieces and parts to create a spinning target for fun during pracice time. I still need to get some sand bags or weights for the base, but I will be interested to see how it reacts to live fire. The only real purchase was the spindle / bearing housing for the main hub. It is a spindle for a 48" riding mower blade. My bother-in-law did the welding. Any suggestions are welcome. Link to video clip of target:
-Ace-
And it wobbles! Lol it should definitely hone your spinner engagement skills. What did you make the circle plates with, ar500 or just mild steel? Edited February 18, 2013 by -Ace-
Bensonr
Not sure what the steel is composed of. It is NOT ar500. That is the unknown of this project......how it will react to live fire. We will know soon. If it comes apart, I will modify as needed. It was fun figuring it out. Yes the wobble is being resolved.
