hondaman
Does anyone know the specifics of the motor Dillon uses for its trimmer? It's part number, RPMs, torque, etc? Thank you.
gimpy
I thought I've read that it is 6000 rpm.. Seems like an odd number for 60 Hz frequency, but I don't argue with what works. Edited February 16, 2013 by gimpy
Chills1994
mine is still in the box, but I suspect that it might be what is called a "universal" motor like what powers up circular saws and woodworking routers. A typical 110V induction-repulsion motor is either 3,450 RPM's or 1,725 RPM's a woodworking router can spin up 23,000 RPM.
