Since I'm going to have to purchase some equipment anyway I thought it would be nice to have just one configuration to learn/master. After going over the rules for these matches I think I have something that would work in all all four of the biggies. Just so there is no confusion I'm talking about SMM3G, RM3G, DPMS, and the MGM Ironman. 20" .223 AR flat-top in "Scoped Tactical" I have a few questions. Will a RM3G legal comp be legal for the other matches? What would be the best RM3G legal comp? RM3G states 1"x3" for comp the others don't specify. Does that mean no comp or any comp? What is the best 1"x3" compensator to fit standard AR threads? I'm leaning toward the Valdada 1.1x4 as the best compromise scope. Comments?
