williamstein Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Greetings all, my first thread here as I get started on the forum and preparing for 3 gun shooting. I've read some nice things about the Winchester Super X3 for 3 gun (I also have one), and I'm wondering if there is any difference in the receiver on a 3" vs 3.5" gun or if it is only the barrel/chamber that's different? I'm doing some shopping for a shorter barrel as opposed to my 28" waterfowl barrel and want to make sure that the 3" barrels are compatible with my 3.5" gun. Let me know, and thanks in advance! ziebart Posted February 1, 2013 Share Posted February 1, 2013 Not sure on the barrel, but I have swapped trigger groups between a 3.5" SX3 and a 3" FN SLP.
