M&P
Looking at building a gun for ESP and want to know if frame modifications like "SVI frame fluting" are legal. (sample picture attached) Emailed HQ with picture and no response so far. Also I realize slide lightening isn't legal, but adding front serrations is. What is to much? Yes I realize I'm an evil gamer - no need to go there. Thanks, Graham Edit - I know the dust cover and barrel aren't legal. kaiserb
Your problem will be the full length dust cover. Also if it has a bull barrel it will not meet ESP requirements
M&P
Thanks Brian, I actually was aware of the dust cover and barrel issues. just couldn't find a picture right off with frame fluting and short DC.
Rob Tompkins
IMHO, front serrations deeper than necessary to form a grip will get you a funny look, deep enough to go all the way through will get you a DQ. IMHO, frame cuts are just decoration, no problem.
Jim Watson
This is one of the current rules that gives me heartburn. Each Division has a MAXIMUM weight limit, yet we are not allowed to REDUCE the weight by cutting on the slide. Maybe the Tiger Teams have fixed that.
