G34 CORDY
Ok guys I just picked my TS up from my local gun shop transferred from CZ Custom! Its all factory right now but man this thing is a shooter. I picked it up went home cleaned and lubed it and off to the range I went. First impressions were it was as big and heavy as some stated but not as bad as I thought it would be. I like a heavier gun and its extremely comfortable and well balanced. The trigger is very light and smooth one of the best feeling factory triggers I have felt. So now to the range, I only put around 200 rounds through it just to make sure it runs right and play alittle with it. Recoil management is awesome to say the least, the weight really helps soak up alot of felt recoil. Accuracy is on par with alot more expensive guns I have shot, I felt very comfortable putting rounds where I wanted them to go for the most part lol. Iam very happy with this pistol and now need practice practice practice to use it to its full potential and potential it does have. Iam very excited to use this as my primary limited gun and I believe as my skills improve it will not hold me back what so ever. I like my G35 but personally the TS is on another level for me anyway. With my Shadow Custom and now my TS Iam becoming a CZ fanboy lol. Edited January 25, 2013 by G34 CORDY
bassmankai
Congrats my good man!!!! I love the Tactical Sport and just got back from my LGS with my CZ-75 Shadow. I truly believe the Tactical Sport is the most underrated competition pistol out there and the price is right too. I think you made a great buy! G34 CORDY
Nothing against the S_I type guns which I love as most of us do but I think alot of people over look other platforms such as the TS and others out there. These guns are not as refined but damn good comp guns for the price they are hard to beat. Personally if I went to a drag race and everyone had a Camaro even though they are great cars it would be alittle boring to watch thats why I think its great that other companys make good limited guns as its fun to see and talk about other guns at the matches other than a S_I. Iam not downing them what so ever as they are smooth as silk, actions and triggers are amazing but I love to see other guns in action even though they might not be as good. I have the money to buy a S_I and had a appointment with SVI to go check out a gun and put a down payment on one but at over 4k for the pistol alone is hard to justify the expense when I dont get to shoot as much as I want to because of work. Long story short Iam very happy with my purchase and again happy with CZ for making very nice pistols that give us other options. bassmankai
I can't agree with you more G34! CZ makes a great product and they are able to keep there prices somewhat reasonable. If I hadn't been luck enough to have a friend in the know, who also shoots a S_I style gun, hip me to the TS I would've never been able to get into the sport. But for the price it's a great deal and since CZ Custom and other companies are able to do some cool stuff for them, you're getting a competitive gun for half the price. Good luck and good shooting. redbird1976
Congrats, on your purchase. If you haven't done it already, get rid of the recoil buffer. It causes all manner of feeding and cycling problems.

ohsevenflhx
#1 ditch the buffer. Get the steel recoil guide rod. My TS likes to have plenty of lube on slide.

billdozer
Take a grinder to the checkering on the grip, throw some grip tape on it,and your good to go.....until you see all the shiny stuff on czcustoms site that is.
G34 CORDY
And I like shiny stuff lol. My Shadow has the shiny CZ Customs treatment so his big brother needs some bling. I have a idea what I want to do except the barrel bushing, I know its not needed but it seems like a cool idea if it really does tighten up groups. Its about as needed as a 4-5k dollar limited gun for a weekend hobby haha. But we all like to trick out our toys.
billdozer
I literally shot my .40 maybe 20 rounds before i started messing with it. lol. My 9mm is my baby, after i run a lot of rounds through the 40, ill tear into that puppy next. Is yours a .40 or 9mm?
G34 CORDY
Its a .40 baby limited here I come!!! I plan on sending mine off for the limited treatment. I want to keep the full length dust cover but lighten the slide, flat trigger, trigger job, hammer, springs, guide rod, undercut beavertail and trigger guard, grip reduction, sights, magwell, and maybe a bushing barrel but still want to hear from more people that has it. The 2011's can have all the fun with the mods why cant the CZ guys?

billdozer
tactical sport. I don't have a 2011 built yet. So far i've got the frame, slide, and receiver. I cant imagine that I'll like it any better. I just bought a bunch of mags, and those parts in case oblahblah actually gets that ban passed. G34 CORDY
So which one are you going to lean on for your primary limited gun 2011 or CZ? There isnt many of us dont go to the dark side lol. Yes I have way to many Glock mags for my G34 and 35 because of this mess. I need to get some mags for my TS only have 3 right now. billdozer
most likely the cz, it'll prolly take me a while to build the 2011. I've spent a shit ton of money for being my first year shooting, i need to slow down.....and when i say a shit ton, i mean a shit ton. I added it up the other day, and i made less than that in a year when i was younger! lol
