Beacon22
I am reloading .38 special for a Smith model 52 and have been reading about the need to do a full length re-size for certain cartridges such as the .38 spl being used in a semi-auto to eliminate the small bulge at the base of the cartridge. This problem also occurs in Glock .40's and other loose chambered guns. I have found three possible solutions and would appreciate opinions, experiences, etc. 1.) Redding dual ring carbide sizing die 2.) Lee factory crimp die 3.) EGW undersized die***** this is the solution I was leaning towards.
