Who to do the work?

Either company you mentioned will do a good job. Both CZ Custom and Akai have done work for me on my TS. Akai did the grip reduction and refinish for me. Shay did a great job. Angus and his guys rebarreled my TS for me last year when the barrel lug sheared off.

When I send in the gun for some limited parts trigger, sights ect Should I have them do the bushing barrel mod?

+1 on recommending David at CGW. His work is top-rate and he will offer ideas but will do exactly what you want. What is really different is that he always answers the phone and talks as long as it takes. I don't think f he ever leaves his shop!! A-G

They say the barrel bushing tightens up the groups significantly at 50 yards. It might give you a little more wiggle room. That being said I've shot poppers at 100yards with the stock barrel and bushing.

CZ Custom. It is where almost everyone who works on CZs get most of their parts anyways. Yes, there are some exceptions, but not many. Lots of people do awesome CZ work but I personally like to frequent a one-stop shop. They can take good care of all my CZ needs without my having to ship parts or firearms to different locations. YMMV
