What clays?

I have never tried any clays powder and I always see people reference it. I know there are at least two that I know of, Universal Clays and not sure what the other one is called. When people are talking about 9/40 loads what Clays are they referring to?

2. Universal Clays

3. International Clays

For pistol loads, use Clays.

I use clays exclusively in my 9, 40 and 45; clean, fast burning; I recommend it

I use universal clays in 40 and 45, more forgiving than clays in 40 with heavy bullets (180, 200 gr...)

I use Universal, as well as a few other local shooters.

Universal can be used in pistols. Soft shooting but I find it smokey.

Never used International

Clays works great in 45 with 200 or 230 bullets nice soft shooting and clean burning.

I believe that Hodgdon is calling them Universal, International and Clays to simplify things.

i.e. leaving the word clays off of international and universal
