GunCat Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 I'm trying to replace a sight on a 1911 slide. I've poured over the Brownells catalog and Google searched everyone I can think of. Here's what I am looking for: Plain black post (or maybe a serrated ramp as a second choice) .210” tall (or .215” would be close enough) ,090” wide 60° x .330" x .060" Dovetail Anyone know of a source? sperman Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 I just went and looked up the old e-mails. It was from Jan. of 2011. The person I e-mailed said they could make them. I called and talked to someone else who said they no longer make custom sights. I think the problem was I wanted a custom width, not a custom height.
