121 gr IFPs for .380 ACP

I wanted to try a new weight bullet I've heard so much about for my 9mm reloads... the 121 gr IFP.

I've had much success with reloading 115 gr FMJs in my .380 ACP. Has anyone successfully tried using the 121 gr IFP for a .380 ACP load? Going from the standard 85 gr to 121 gr seems like quite a jump for a smallish caliber.

It's been a while since I posted this topic. However I have some results for the 121 grain 9mm IFP from Montana Gold. First of all, I decided against loading up any .380s with this caliber bullet. For 9mm, without a chronograph, I found that 8.3 grains of Blue Dot provides excellent results with accuracy and recoil. Using CCI small pistol primers and mixed once-fired brass. The overall length is equal or less than 1.153 inches for a Glock magazine. Racking and extraction were both flawless as well.
